I am licensed with the State of Florida Department of Insurance and Financial Services. My job is to help educate and advise individuals going onto Medicare for the first-time! Also, I service current Medicare Beneficiaries seeking help with their plan. Currently, I represent several of the most popular insurance carriers in the Tampa Bay Area, that offer Medicare plans. I want to meet ‘in-person’ in order to establish and build a lasting ‘long-term’ relationship for many years to come. Knowing your rights, entitlements, and benefits is easy when you work with someone who knows you and cares. First, I start with a thorough ‘needs analysis’ in order to know your personal needs. Then, I will help advise you on the best solutions that fit YOUR unique situation. Everyone’s circumstance is different. This is why a ‘one size fits all’ approach will not have YOUR best interest in mind.

I specialize in helping you achieve Peace of Mind. We will go over the full “Medicare Checklist’ together, and discuss your options. You will know how Medicare works. I will verify your Medicare/Medicaid eligibility, including any extra benefits that are available to you. I want to make sure you are receiving EVERYTHING that you are entitled to. I will also advise you of your options concerning Parts C and D.

Educating you on all the ‘ins and outs’ of Medicare. Explaining the “Special Election Periods” (SEP). These are ‘important’ dates to remember throughout the year, when you can change your plan. I will go over the “Late Enrollment Penalty” (LEP) and how to avoid it. I will help you search your doctor(s) and also look up all of your prescriptions to make sure they are covered by your plan.

Medicare is constantly changing. New plans are added. Old plans are dropped. It is very important to stay up to date on these changes. There are certain times of the year, and specific events, when you can change your plan (SEP). Knowing about these “Special Election Periods” is critical. Having someone ‘in the know’ who you can trust is an invaluable resource. It is such a huge advantage having YOUR own personal agent to reach out to, when encountering an issue with your plan.

There are some Medicare Advantage Plans with a Part B “giveback” that will automatically add money back to your social security check every month. You might be surprised at how many beneficiaries don’t even know this. A lot of these plans also include dental, vision and hearing benefits. Some plans include prescription drug coverage (MAPD), free transportation, and monthly OTC benefits, such as vitamins, Motrin, Tylenol, toiletries. Be sure you are taking advantage of all of these benefits. The more knowledge you gain… The better for YOU.
